With degrees in World Literature and in Theatre, as well as the editing of mother Lee Maracle's poetry and fiction both professionally and informally during the writing of her manuscripts, Tania is apt and available for both proofreading and close reading. She has also edited policy and technical writing for health and education organizations.

Dramaturgy by Columpa Bobb and Tania Carter

Tania Carter and Columpa C Bobb offer the best of both worlds. Columpa has 37 years of experience as an acclaimed actor, director, playwright and published poet. She has written over a dozen produced plays. Most notably she was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore award for best play, youth category for her play Jumping Mouse co-written with Marion de Vries. She offers a multi faceted insight into play dramaturgy, pulling on her dramaturgical, playwrighting and performing experience.
Tania Carter offers a plethora of knowledge as a writer. She holds a B. A. in global literature and an M. A. In Theatre, she is a playwright and published poet. Tania’s thesis play is an innovative approach to Indigenous story transmogrified into a contemporary theatrical framework.
Both sisters have a keen eye for artistic comprehension, cultural context and content, and ability to cooperatively move seamlessly between macro and micro sociological and psychological aspects of playwrighting. Their capacity to facilitate a playwright’s journey encompasses all stages of the creative process, be it initial idea to draft to workshop and production ready scripts.​​
