"Find freedom in the context you inherit."

We are an intergenerational collective of Salish women, we are the daughters and grand daughter of Siam Dr. Lee Maracle O.C., we are Theatre Practitioners, Oral Knowledge Transmitters, Visual Artists and Poets. Our mission is to create art, empowerment and learning opportunities for Indigenous people. We commit to continuing our Matriarch's legacy of wisdom, empowerment and belonging.
Throughout our lives we have gathered a bundle of knowledge and we are passionate about sharing our wisdom and our perspective with those who seek to know us and learn from us.
We envision an existence where systems of Salish orality, lawfulness and personal connection thrive in arts and culture, and are woven into the fabric of the multitude of beautiful communities who have put down roots in the lower mainland.

As Salish women we are working to carve out space for artistic expression and indigenous knowledge transmission within the territory that is our homeland. There are no performing arts spaces led by Salish women from the lower mainland. We are here to change that.

Siam Dr. Lee Maracle OC believed that all people living in our homeland belong in and belong to our Salish territory and the laws that serve it. She believed in a future where artistic expression and open conversation would provide the foundation for a most peaceful and prosperous way of life. We walk forward our Siam's legacy of solidarity in our work and in our lives
